Mary Ellen Eudaly (Cambridge Christian) - Girls 2 Mile
The junior Mary Ellen Eudaly has had a breakout outdoor season to lower her 1600 and 3200-meter times into all-time Florida best territory to set herself up this weekend to a potential two-mile state record chase with her teammate and indoor two-mile state record holder Mary Ellen Eudaly.
The duo has done some impressive feats as a tandem this season including running under 4:50 twice in the same race for 1600 meters down to 4:44 for Eudaly and 4:46 for Lehman. Eudaly ran her 3200 meter PR of 10:17 in a third-place finish at the Dash for Doobie 3200 back in March and appears prime to go closer to 10:10 or faster in the post-season with over two months more of training in.
Eudaly won the 1A girls 1600 meter state title comfortably earlier this month and also has the turnover to close fast having clocked a 2:13 PR for 800 meters this spring.
