Spencer Werner (Loyola Academy IL) - Boys Mile, 2Mile
Our first out-of-state entry of this year's series and will be looking to rectify that next year with a much larger draw beyond the state borders of Florida will be Loyola Academy's Spencer Werner. Werner is a distance runner from the suburbs of Chicago, who brings in times to make him the top seed in both the mile and two-mile races with PR's of 4:25 in the 1600 and 9:17 in the 3200. He's run sub 9:20 in his last two races this outdoor season.
This past cross country season, Werner also rolled to some fast times of 15:12 for 5K and 14:58 for three miles, which is the more commonly run distance in the fall for Illinois.
