8. Cade Culpepper (Sunlake)
The Sunlake squad although talented and looking every bit destined to be a podium squad in 3A as the next best team after Belen Jesuit is not a very deep one or a large team. Thankfully, a ninth grader in Cade Culpepper has showed up for their squad and could be a surging difference-maker on the back end of their scoring five in championship season after their strong front three of Colby Robbins, Alex Pena, and Carson Meyer.
Culpepper's last two races have been his best yet with a near sub 17-minute performance in Tallahassee at the Pre-State meet in 17:03 and then followed that up taking advantage of his speedy and flat home course at Sunlake to run a 16:39 PR to finish sixth in the Sunshine Athletic Conference East meet.
