Take a look below at the season-best 5K times of all the senior girls slated to run in Friday's FACA All-Star Classic to be held on Friday, November 19th at Holloway Park in Lakeland, Florida. Also can find below a projected raw team score for the All-Star teams organized for each region.
The North Region girls come in as the favorites slightly over the South and West Region squads with the potential of their entire top 5 finishers to run under 20 minutes at Holloway Park led by Laci Watford of University Christian.
Watford will also be one of the top individuals in the race with her season-best time of 19:04 ranking her third fastest in the field behind only University of Alabama commit Lily Henne of Lake Minneola with an 18:43 season-best and Spanish River's Zoe Pustilnik also having gone sub 19 this season at 18:55.
All-State finishers from last Friday's state meet in the race include Henne (8th in 3A), Watford (9th in 1A), and Mia Rodriguez (11th in 2A) from The King's Academy. Henne ran 19:11 on the Holloway Park course back in early October as an 11th place finisher in the Race of Champions at the flrunners.com Invite.
