FHSAA 1A Girls High Jump
Nicole Shepherd (Bell) 5-05.00
A state runner-up one year ago as a sophomore, Bell's Nicole Shepherd was able to elevate in position as well as height to claim the 1A girls high jump state title with a new personal best clearance of 1.65 meters or 5'5" on Wednesday. She was the only competitor left after a group of five went out after clearing 5'1.75" or 1.57 meters.
