Port St. Joe senior Darian Mills, the defending state champion in the 1A boys 110 meter hurdles, took his times to another level on Wednesday dropping his PR from 14.29 to a wind-legal (+1.0) state title repeat in a swift 14.05 clocking.

Mills' state meet performance ranks him 3rd fastest overall in the state of Florida behind only the 4A state champion Cyrus Ways and 3A state champion Harrison Robinson. 

St. John Neumann senior Joshua Gulapa was a distance runner-up to Milles in a time of 14.70 while staying ahead of two sophomores dipping under 15 seconds in Tyson Waters of Chaminade-Madonna (3rd, 14.72) and Jason Ravelo of Avant Garde Academy (4th, 14.97).
