Braxton Legg of Cambridge Christian was the top 1A finisher at the Cecil Field Summer Classic and might have established himself as the early front runner for the state title in the classification with 15:43 5K PR run for fourth place in the elite race. A majority of the top runners in 1A were in the race finishing behind him with the top exception being Oak Hall's Caden Montini.
