2 Post-Season Race Opportunities Popping Up For Florida XC

There are two new post-season race opportunities found in the state of Florida for athletes who wish to extend their season beyond the 2022 FHSAA official season or need some races in between to stay sharp for the various national and regional post-season events found over Thanksgiving weekend and into the month of December.

flrunners.com will be sponsoring and hosting two events of our own on the grass on Saturday, November 12th in the flrunners.com Future Stars Of Fall cross country race at Holloway Park in Lakeland and on the track on Saturday, November 19th in the flrunners.com PR Fest On The Track.

The Future Stars of Fall XC race on November 12th will offer a middle school boys/girls 3K race at 7:15 AM and high school boys/girls 5K race combined at 7:30 AM before the start of the FACA All-Star Senior meet in conjunction starting at 8 AM. We are planning on using a modified, new and faster 5K course at Holloway Park as well with more details to come on that.

Then the following weekend at Viera High School's brand new resurfaced track in Brevard County, athletes will have the opportunity to test their peak fitness from the championship season of cross country to try and throw down some new PR's on the track whether it's at the 800 meter, 1600 meter, 3200 meter, or 5K distance. All of the races will be run under the lights starting with the 800-meter run and finishing up with a rare 5,000-meter run on the track.

All meet information, online registration, and entry fee payments can be found online on the fl.milesplit.com calendar and direct links below.
