Meet Information
A post-season meet opportunity for cross country runners to take advantage of their peak fitness to run some personal best times on the track whether tuning up for national and regional post-season cross country races or simply finish up the fall with a flashy new PR before taking a break to get ready for the 2023 track season.
Will be hosted on the brand new track surface at Viera High School in Brevard County and the Space Coast.
Entry fee will be $25 per athlete. All entry fees must be paid online via the MIleSplit registration system. Entries will close on Wednesday, November 16th at midnight.
The meet is open to runners of all ages (elementary, middle school, high school, college, post-collegiate/open) but primarily geared towards high school aged competitors.
Admission Fee - $5 for all spectators. Coaches and competing athletes free admission.
Live results will be on MileSplit.live provided by Miles & Minutes and the meet will be live streamed on fl.milesplit.com.
Distances contested include: 800m, 1600m, 3200m, and 5000m.
First race starts at 5:30 PM around sunset and operates on rolling schedule starting with the girls 800 meters. The 3200 and 5K races will be co-ed combined and seeded to provide elite girls more competition to be pulled along to faster times.
We will post a final schedule once entries close and can calculate based on number of heats. We will run from slow to fast in order for our sections. Below i projected # of heats and race start times with current entries.

6:00 PM Girls 1600m Run (1 Heat)
6:15 PM Boys 1600m Run (3 Heats)
6:55 PM Co-Ed 3200m Run (5 Heats)
8:15 PM Co-Ed 5000m Run (3 Heats)
9:30 PM Finish Time
Top 3 finishers in each event will receive medals and presented formally at the competition of each event.
