Interview: Sophie Haag Is Sprinting Right Thru Stereotypes


We caught up for an interview with East Lake senior Sophie Haag, who currently owns the nation's fastest all-conditions time for the 100 meter dash after her 11.41 personal best wind-aided clocking at the IMG Spring Break Invitational. 


Haag will competing this weekend at the FSU Relays including the second seed in the 200 meter dash behind indoor national record holder Adaejah Hodge of Montverde Academy. Haag is coming off breaking 24 seconds for the 200 meter dash for the first time this past weekend with another PR race at IMG in a 23.96 clocking.
