Lake Minneola sophomore Kai Evans established the FHSAA state meet record in the 400 meter hurdles in the inaugural year of the event being contested in the state series by winning the 3A state title with the fastest performance of the week amongst all the classification winners with a US #2 clocking of 52.35.
