The Florida outdoor season had a full slate of meets over the weekend. Florida and US Top performances were center stage in SWFL at the Dunbar Tigers Classic in Fort Myers.
Lehigh Sr. Gianna Del Pizzo and Belen Jesuit Fr. Marcelo Mantecon had impressive early season doubles. In the 3200, Del Pizzo ran an FL #4 11:06.75. She returned later and won the 1600 in a FL #3 5:04.78. Mantecon ran a FL #1 9:13.51 in the 3200 and a 4:17.14 1600.

IMG Academy Sr. Jason Ravelo showed why he is one of Florida's and the nation's best hurdlers. Ravelo ran a Florida #1 and a US #6 13.47 in the 110mH. He came back later in one of the highlight races of the meet, the 400mH, running 2nd to his teammate Sr. Lucca Pizzimbono in the 400mH. Pizzimbono ran a FL #2 and US #3 55.15. Ravelo's 55.37 is FL #3 and US #6.
