The 4A girl's team championship is a showdown between the sprinting prowess of the Miami Southridge girls and the distance talent of the Creekside girls. Although the Southridge girl's 4x800 is ranked 4A #2 (9:22.20). In the virtual meet, the Southridge girls have a score of 85 and the Creekside girls a score of 75. Southridge is ranked 4A #1 in both the 4x100m Relay and the 4x400m Relay with times of 45.85 and 3:47.63. Individually, the girls are led by Sr. Meara Rasul who is ranked 4a #2 in the 100 and the 200 with times of 11.64 and 23.89w. Rasul won her regional races and the virtual meet is based upon the times run in those races, but she will have to contend with the #1 ranked 4A girls, Rachael Uvieghara of Palm Harbor University HS who has run 11.57 and 23.60 this season.
