She has moved into the #2 spot on the Creekside girls team with a 6th place finish at the Cecil Field Summer Classic, running a 18:37.00. Her time has her ranked FL #7 All Divisions behind her Jr. sister, Alyson Johnson , who is the State leader with an 18:00.00 run in her win at Cecil Field. Alyson is the defending 4A State XC Champion. In 4A, Sydney is the #5 ranked girl behind a group of very talented seniors; Mackenzie Roy and Arianna Roy of Spruce Creek and Cameron Shelby of Wellington. She is an experienced young runner with PR's last spring on the track of 5:02.13 in the Mile and 10:55.07 in the 3200m.
