VOTE: FL Girl's Performer of the Week - Week 5


2  Jr. Mackenzie De Lisle Bishop Verot HS 2nd @ North Port XC Invitational 17:33.50.  De Lisle vaulted into  the #2 spot in the girl's rankings in her season opener, running a close second to Creekside's Alyson Johnson at North Port.

8th Gr. Mary Summers Seven Rivers Christian School  1st Wildwood Open Middle School XC 17:39.28  After opening at Cecil Field with a 7th place finish in 18:46.00, she has strung together four wins.  Her 17:29.28 has moved her into the #5 ranking in the state.

8th Gr. Annabella Tomasic Lake Highland Prep HS 1st Hagerty Invitational 18:24.70.  The defending 2A girls state champion, after finishing 3rd in her opener at Cecil Field, has put together three consecutive wins. The latest at the Hagerty Invitational.

8th Gr.  Shynah Collins Dillard HS 1st Spanish River XC Invitational, 42nd Annual 18:33.10  The 8th grader keeps improving.  She was 3rd in last year's 3A state championships (18:26.50) behind her teammate Christian Coleman, the 3A state champion.  She was the #2 runner on the Dillard State championship team and has taken over as the team leader this year.

Sr. Grace Aldrich Carrollton School of the Sacred Heart 1st Spanish River XC Invitational 18:41.30  Aldrich was 5th last year in the 2A state meet and has won both of her races this fall at the Dr. Joaquin Garcia Inv. and at Spanish River.
