Ever wonder how the meets are live streamed? This is Chris Shonk hard at work at the Cecil Field meet earlier in the year. Chris is a producer and MileSplit FL contributor. You might see him out with his camera or camcorder, but he's more at home sitting with his switcher, the feed from the cameras and making the live streams happen for us in XC and on the track.
Hurricane Helene caused the cancellation and postponement of many of the meets in Florida. If you were counting on one more meet before PreState, this is the one. The Varsity Races on Friday are almost full and because of SAT's on Saturday, the boys and girls races will feature some of the state's best talent. The ROC and the Jason Byrne Invitationals on Saturday will be very competitive on the challenging Holloway Park course. The races are 7 and 8 days out from PreState and will allow your runners to have a good recovery, some early week workouts, and a short taper before heading to Tallahassee.
