Newsome Sr. Rachel Harrar was voted your Week 10 Performer of the Week. She has a PR this season of 17:48 that she ran in winning the Hillsborough County Championships. She won the FHSAA 4A District 5 race last weekend in 18:05.70 and is currently the #5 ranked 4A girl in the state. She runs next in the 4A Region 3 race at Northport on Saturday, Nov. 8th in hope of qualifying for the State Meet.
