Congratulations to senior Selena Gregory of Nease for receiving your vote for the Florida Girls Performer of the Week for Feb. 16-21 for her win in the Pole Vault at the 22nd Annual East Coast Classic with a vault of 3.8m tieing her with two other girls at the top spot in the current Florida rankings. She received 41.89% of your votes.
Runner-up with 36.8% of the votes was senior Jayce Miller of Hillsborough, who took the Triple Jump at the Southridge Spartan Invitational with a leap of 12.17m. Miller's vault is currently Florida No. 1.

Vanessa Waite (Lake Minneola HS, 2028: Posted a pair of state-leading marks at the Hawks on the Hill Invitational, clocking 11.53 (U.S. No. 12) in the 100m to break her PR of 11.62 set last July. She also ran 23.62 (U.S.No. 3) to win the 200m, putting up the fastest time in Florida this season.

Journee Belcher (Rickards HS, 2027) won the High Jump at the 22nd Annual Jesse Forbes HS Invitational with a jump of 1.72m (5-7.72), which is currently tied for Florida No. 1 and ties her for current U.S. No. 10.
Micah Brown (Mosley HS, 2027) was 2nd to Journee Belcher on misses at the 22nd Annual Jesse Forbes HS Invitational. Her jump of 1.72m (5-7.72) is currently tied for Florida No. 1 and ties her for current U.S. No. 10.
