Team Spotlight: Buchholz Heads to NIN with Dreams

While much-deserved attention has been given to the boys from Belen Jesuit and to both the boys' and girls' teams from IMG, another team is quietly in the spotlight. The boys from Buchholz head to Nike Indoor Nationals this weekend. The team, from Gainesville, has a roster of 130 boys and girls and competes in the 4A division of the FHSAA. This weekend, however, the spotlight is on the boys and the relays.

Competing as the Dreamville TC, they will compete in the 4000m DMR, the 4x1 Mile, and the 4x800m Relay. In 2025, competing as the Buchholz TC, they were 6th in the 4x1 Mile with a time of 17:29.38. In the 2024 race, a team composed of Gino Palazzolo, Calum Watson, Evan Fleming, and Riley Smith won the national championship with a time of 17.25.44.
