Florida 2A Boys Team Projection Heading to Postseason

Cardinal Newman senior Zamarii Sanders is one of the top sprinters in Florida and is atop the 2A rankings in both the 100m and the 200m. He helped Cardinal Newman to the 2A title last year with wins in the 100m (10.4) and the 200m (20.97).

Friday, April 10th, is the last official day of the 2026 FHSAA Track & Field regular season. Districts are scheduled for Tuesday-Saturday, April 14-18 & Monday-Saturday, April 20-25, followed by Regionals on Friday-Saturday, May 1-2, 2026. The State championships are scheduled for Wednesday-Saturday, May 6-9. For detailed information, visit the FHSAA Track & Field website.

Here is a look at the 2A Boys Teams as we head to Districts next week. It is based upon individual rankings in each event and is done as Team Scoring. Of course, it is just a projection and does not account for non-qualifiers, injuries, actual State performances, etc. It is an indication of Team Strength as we head into the postseason.
