Titusville High School senior Erica Halvorson signed a National Letter of Intent on Saturday with George Washington University. She will join fellow Space Coast runners Julianna and James Stern (Satellite) as members of the GW Colonials' cross country team, competing in the NCAA Division 1 Atlantic 10 Conference.
After visiting the school in late January, Halvorson said she loved Coach Brian Beil and the camaraderie of the men's and womens' teams at the university, which is located in Washington, DC.
