The FLYRA Middle School Girls State Track & Field Championships began in 2002 under its original name, the Flrunners.com MS State Championship. Since then, under the leadership of Dan Epstein and Laura Frederickson, the meet has grown into Florida's premier middle school track and field event, attracting many of the state's top young athletes each year.
Below is a list of the all-time girls event leaders dating back to the inaugural championship meet. Click on an event link to view the complete current girls' rankings for that event. (Note: it defaults to all states' rankings. Please select Florida from the drop-down menu.) With the exclusion of the 1600m, 3200m, and 300mH, which are no longer contested, the oldest records date back to the 2014 meet, where Destiny Castillo (Unattached) jumped 5.59m in the Long Jump and Adriana Diaz of the Fast Lane Track club went 10.32m in the Triple Jump.
