Florida Middle Schoolers Bobbie Gibbs and Alexandrea Fraser grabbed the spotlight on day one of the Under Armour Nationals.
Seventh-grader Bobbie Gibbs, running for the North Florida Elite, won the Middle School Boys 100m in 10.65, a PR that ranks U.S. No. 1 among middle school boys this year. The mark also stands as the fastest 100m ever by a U.S. seventh-grader, Florida middle school boys No. 2 all-time, and Florida seventh-grade No. 1 all-time.
Eighth-grader Fraser of IMG Academy won the Middle School Girls 400m in 55.11, a U.S. No. 3 performance this year among middle school girls. The mark also moved her to No. 8 all-time among Florida eighth-grade girls in the event.

Senior Charles Loftin of the Providence School took the Boys Mile Championship in 4:07.50, just missing by .25 seconds, cracking the Top 10 all-time Florida Boys' Mile Rankings with his No. 11 performance.
Seventh-Grader Michael Riera-Gomez, competing unattached, won the Middle School Boys Pole Vault with a vault of 4.10m
13-05.25. He is the top-ranked middle school boys pole vaulter this season.
Junior Norah Garraughty, competing Unattached, won the Girls Pole Vault Championship in a jump off with a vault of 3.65m

Selah Gayle of Rocky Bayou Christian, competing unattached, took the Middle School girls 200 mH Championship in a time of 28.68
-2.5 m/s, just missing her FLYRA Middle School State Track and Field Championship PR win of 28.05. She is also the top qualifier for the middle school girls' 100mH finals. (15.28 +3.6 m/s).
Senior Aubrey Pelletier of IMG Elite won the Girls Hammer Throw championship with a throw of 55.31m
