Wiregrass Ranch senior Sam Hippely has verbally committed to the University of West Florida. Over his four years at Wiregrass Ranch Hippely has become the school record holder in the 5000 meters with a personal best time of 16:02. He was the 2011 cross country team captain, three-time All Conference selection and two-time regional and state qualifier. He finished 26th at the 3A Cross Country Championships and 26th at the FACA Senior All-Star Meet.
