Pine Forest alumni Darroneshia Lott made a huge impression in her 1500 meter debut this weekend at the prestigious Texas Relays. The freshman at South Plains College won the B Division race by a second and a half with a 4:32.49 victory. That time converts to a 4:52.52 for 1600 meters, which converted is a big six second personal best for her. Two weeks ago she also won the 800 meters at UTEP with a 2:10.60 new best. Things are definitely looking up for her this year and beyond!
