Summary
Twenty teams took to the USF Golf Course to battle it out on Friday. Paul McKenna of Countryside ended Abdin Fator's four meet unbeaten streak to win the boys title in 16:14 over Fator's 16:29. But with help from #2 David Piatt (sixth overall) and his other Sickles teammates, they rolled to a 17:18 team average and a 61 point victory over Bloomingdale's 90 points.
For the girls, Shorcrest Prep had a nice show of force by going one-two with Alex Eaton up front in 19:30, followed by Olivia Rovin at 19:40. The team placed four in the top 15 and rode their 20:45 team average to a dominant 50-93 victory over second place Wharton.
