Lecanto Cross Country Invite

Dear Coaches,
Welcome! Check the event website for up to date information as the meet approaches. The link can be found above under event heading. Below please find the proposed schedule for todays meet. I would like to run boys JV first and then girls jv.. I will have 2 chutes set up on the track with someone guiding the runners into the proper chutes. The course is well marked with caution tape throughout the 3.1 mile course. We will have course marshals where there may be a question on which way to go. The mile and 2 mile marks are in the woods close together but far from the start. Remember our start and finishes are approximately 800 meters from each other so plan accordingly to getting your athletes to the starting line on time. All results will be posted to flrunners and to Athletics Scoring Providers results page as soon as video has been watched and results verified to the best of their ability. If you want preliminary results bring a flash drive and we will copy results on to your drive.
The meet will be scored electronically and we will post results behind the stadium on the old concession stand windows. There will be a camera at the finish line. We will pull bib numbers, write bib numbers down and hand out place cards.
Have your kids bring a few dollars there will be a concession stand and great Italian ice for sale at the meet.
Cost for Meet is 50.00 per school or 30.00 Per Gender

There will be a $2.00 charge per car. Please notify your parents/fans.
Coaches meeting 7:30 on the track by the finish.
Girls Varsity: 8:00 AM
Boys Varsity: 8:35 AM
Boys JV 9:05 am
Girls JV 9:20 am
Awards will be given out shortly after the last race is scored.
Awards will be the same for all races. 1st Place and runner up for teams
Individual awards will be top 10 medals 11-20 ribbons with place and time on back.

Please make sure your area is clean before you leave. We have flag football teams coming in later and we need to clean the stands.
All busses need to park in the main parking lot if front of the school.
