Meet Information
Share of expenses: $100 per school or $25 if you only have one athlete competing. If payment is not received by day of meet, you will not compete. We accept cash, check, or money order.
ENTRIES:
*Unlimited entries for individual events
*One relay per school
Entries must be submitted on www.flrunners.com please use the full name of the athlete(no nicknames) grade, gender, event & mark
*You can mail payments to Palmetto High School 1200 17th st west, Palmetto, Fl 34221
*Scratches will be done at the coaches meeting, but no additions or changes to entries. Coaches please double check your entries and print yourself a copy.
AWARDS:
*Team trophies: 1st & 2nd Place
*Individual ribbons: 1st to 8th places
NOTE: The following events will not be consented 3200, 300 hurdles, pole vault, and the triple jump
Schools: Braden River, Bayshore, Bradenton Christian, Lakewood Ranch, Manatee, Palmetto, Southeast & St. Stephens
Field events and lane assignments will be done at the coaches meeting at 3:00.
Scoring: Individual events 10-8-6-5-4-3-2-1, Relay 10-8-6-4-2-1
Meet start time 3:30
4x800 at 4:00
Running events start time 5:00
Field Events:
Four efforts in the jumps & throws. ALL Finals
Order:
Girl's shot and Boy's discus then reverse at the completion of each event. Girls high jump then boy's. Boy's long jump followed by girl's
Running Events:
No Prelims. All Finals and are seeded
Girl's then boy's in each event
Athletes must check in to the clerk at first call. Please stay on top of your athletes so they will not be disqualified. Uniform rule in effect
No Coaches on the infield.
