UPDATES
Parking:  
Due to COVID-19 policies, parking will not be available until 2:45 p.m.  No one is allowed on our campus until after school gets out at 2:25 p.m.  The parking lots do not clear for parking until 2:45 p.m.  The bus lane does not clear for bus parking until 2:40 p.m.  Trust me, our neighborhood-locked school creates quite the congestion of traffic on all the surrounding streets.  If for some reason you or your athletes arrive early (before 2:45 p.m.), please plan on waiting in the Publix parking lot at 3900 Manatee Ave W until our campus is clear and ready for you to park.  Thank you for understanding.
Spectator tickets:  
Once enough field event spectators have left the track at completion of field events, we will be able to open up ticket sales again.

ENTRY FEES:

$250 per school

ENTRIES:

3 entries per event, one relay per school

TRACK RESTRICTIONS:

Only 1/8 and 1/4 inch pyramid spikes allowed. NO NEEDLES! Clerk will check.

NO TAPE ALLOWED ON TRACK OR RUNWAYS. Please bring tennis balls or other items without sticky residue for your relay marks and runway marks. Thank you.

NO COACHES ON INFIELD as that results in athletes on the infield near the timer, shot put, discus, and javelin.  No one on infield except athletes warming up on the east end of the field near high jump end (away from timing tent/finish line).

Teams are NOT allowed to bring grills or any type of cooking devices.

SCHEDULE:

3:15 p.m. javelin outside football stadium on practice field between stadium and 11th Ave W


3:00 p.m. pole vault at Lakewood Ranch High School, 5500 Lakewood Ranch Blvd, Bradenton, FL 34211


3:30 p.m. coaches' meeting at finish line/timing tent one coach minimum per school


4:00 p.m. long jump immediately followed by triple jump, high jump, shot put, discus, and 4x800m relay


6:00 p.m. all running finals

All athletes enter track from the east gate (closest to parking lot and 100m start line)

All athletes exit track at west end of track (past finish line, near restrooms)

Athletes must check in with the clerk at the 100m start at first call. Please let your athletes know this! Don't let them get disqualified.

FIELD EVENTS ORDER:

Girls' shot and boys' discus then the reverse at the conclusion of each.

High jump girls followed by boys.

Long jump both boys and girls simultaneously followed by triple jump boys and girls. Boys jump on east end and girls jump on west end.


Three efforts in all jumps and throws. All finals. Check in at designated areas upon arrival.

1-3 individual ribbons in each event

Coaches pick up the team envelope of individual awards at the end of the meet. Awards will not be mailed so please pick them up.

TEAM/ATHLETE INFO:

All teams to set up in team area in the west parking lot behind high jump. NO ATHLETES IN THE STANDS.

Warm up area is the east side of infield area (high jump end) and will be marked by cones.

No electronics on infield per FHSAA rules.

A trainer will be on site.

PLEASE CLEAN UP YOUR TEAM AREA. TRASH CANS PROVIDED.

Concession stand will be open.

There are no outside water fountains at MHS.
