NO PARENTS or SPECTATORS will be allowed on the track AT ANY

TIME. ONLY COACHES!

Admission will be $5 per spectator to pay for the awards for the

championship as well as the timing company for every race. We will have a

place for team tents where the kids can go when they are not competing, we are

going to do our best to keep kids OFF THE FIELD when it is not their

event. Please help us with this. Kids will need to pay attention to

the calls for their events over the loudspeaker. We cannot have kids

running over the track and in front of the timing tent. The check in tent

will be in the middle of the field.

TRACK MEET NOTES:

1. Girls will run an event first, then boys

2. We will not use blocks for any events

3. Each team can enter up to 2 relay teams in each relay

4. Heats will be based on seed times; fastest heats will be final

heats (Coaches please be as accurate as possible to the 1/10th of a second to

help us have more even, fair, fun heats)

5. There are no finals- all heats will be timed and the top 8

times from the combined heats will score points

6. Teams need to bring their own batons for the relay races and

will be required to hand off the batons in the exchange zones; bring your own

shot put and discus and javelin. No one can throw javelin without bringing their

own

7. Individual athletes can participate in no more than FOUR total

events, which includes and combination of races, relays and field events.

a. Example A- 100m, 200m, 400m, 800m

b. Example B- Long jump, high jump, shot put, discus

c. Example C- 100m, 4x100m, long jump, discus

8. A school does NOT have to fill their allotted spots (Example:

Tavares decides not to enter anyone into the triple jump or 3000m)

9. Field events (with the exception of high jump) will be limited

to 3 attempts. This includes scratches and attempts that do not meet rule or

minimum standards

*For this race, we will not limit the number of athletes you

can put in each event. However, if the meet takes too long, we may have to

limit each event in the future to the top 3 or 4 per team. We will

probably do this with the championship as well. Let's see how long the

races take we would love to let everyone do all the events they want if

possible.
