This is a fun meet on a challenging course. The course is brand new this year with new mulch trails! We are excited about the new course and think you will be too. There are rolling hills to the course so it is true cross country.

There are great prizes:
T-shirts to the top finishers.
Duffle bags to the winning teams.

This is both a high school and a college meet.

Location: The meet will be held on the athletic fields of Embry-Riddle University in Daytona Beach, FL.

Course The course is one of the most challenging in the state of Florida. It is a true cross country course
Description including all types of terrains, well-groomed athletic fields, a 150 meter grass hill, mulch
trails and concrete. Note: This is a brand new course with new trails.

Teams: College teams will be unlimited in their entries. High School varsity races will be
limited to 10 runners per team. The JV races will be limited to the first 160 total entries. Top 5
will score with 7 holding spaces.

Individuals: Unattached individuals will be allowed to compete in the college races. Schools may enter
individuals in any race in which they are eligible and do not have a full team.

Awards: Team trophies to the top 3 teams
Top 7 runners on the winning team in the high school varsity and college races will receive
Duffle Bags from Asics
Championship t-shirts given to the top 15 runners (JV/College) and top 25 (HS Varsity).

HS Divisions: There will be one High School race with 2 Divisions: Large School and Small School. Everyone
will run together. We will produce results for a small school race (1A/2A schools), large school
race (3A/4A schools) and a combined result from the one race. Team awards will be: Large
school champion, Small school champion, Combined Runner-Up, Combined 3rd place. Bags will
be given to both champions. Individual shirts will be given to the top 25.

Fee: $50 per team per gender for high school varsity and $70 per gender per team for collegiate races
$10 per individual in any race

Registration: All entries must be received by 5 PM., Friday, Sept 30. All entries must be submitted to
Alison Smalling either by e-mail (erausids@hotmail.com) or fax 386-323-5002. Entries will be
confirmed by e-mail and posted on our website. There will be no additions after the above date. Teams may substitute a JV runner for a varsity runner after that date by sending an e-mail to
erausids@hotmail.com. No changes will be made after Thursday, Oct. 6.

Waiver form: All high school and JV athletes must fill out a waiver form prior to competition. These forms
must be turned in prior to racing.

T-shirts: Race shirts are available. You can pre-order the shirts and sizes for $10 until Sept 30. A
limited number of meet shirts will be sold on race day for $15.
