Harrisburg area\'s Dominique Darden and Patrick Philbin competed together (well, not in the same race) at the Gator Invitational Sunday February 6 in Gainesville, Florida.

Gator Invitational: Schappert, Taylor Win HS Mile Jason Byrne Feb 6, 2005

The annual high school mile division of the Gator Indoor Invitational did not disappoint. Nicole Schappert finished three seconds up on Kelly Parrish, winning with a converted 1600 time of 4:55.26. They boys race was a nail-biter with Justin Taylor coming out ahead of recent UF commitment Jeremey Criscione. Taylor came through with a converted time of 4:17.02.
