Dan Dearing has built a powerhouse program at the Bolles School and in 2014 the Lady Bulldogs landed another podium finish, when they took home the 2A state championship.

In this series we take a look at state championship and runner-up coaches, their outlook on the team, the season, and the future of the program.  Coach John Battle has been at Hallandale "Hurdle" Hurdle High School for thirteen years and in that time has racked up five podium finishes including a 2A runner-up trophy for his girls in 2014.

In this series we take a look at state championship and runner-up coaches, their outlook on the team, the season, and the future of the program.  Greg Barnes has been coaching for 11 years with the past two being at Booker T. Washington. After coming off runner-up finishes in 2011 and 2012, Barnes has guided the Tornadoes to a runner-up finish in 2013, and 2A state title in 2014.

Coach Carmen Jackson's Miami Northwestern program has by synonomous with winning. In Jackson's 34 years at the school, 11 years as an assistant and 23 years as a head coach, the Lady Bulls have five runner up finishes and 11 state championships including their latest in 2014.

In this series we take a look at state championship and runner-up coaches, their outlook on the team, the season, and the future of the program. Coach Enrico Knowles has been at American High School the past 11 years. In 2014, he lead the underdog Patriots to a runner-up finish at the 4A State Championships.
 

Coaching Champions: Marshall Trace - Northeast (Oakland Park) Todd Grasley Jun 03, 2014

In this series we take a look at state championship and runner-up coaches, their outlook on the team, the season, and the future of the program. Coach Marshall Trace has been coaching for seven years, his first four as an assistant at St. Thomas Aquinas and the past three as head coach at Northeast High School in Oakland Park. In 2014, Trace guided the Hurricanes to a runner-up finish in 4A, the first podium finish for the girl's program since 1984.

Coaching Champions: Tyrone McGriff - Florida High School Todd Grasley May 29, 2014

In this series we take a look at state championship and runner-up coaches, their outlook on the team, the season, and the future of the program. After spending two years as an assistant coach at Florida High School in Tallahassee, Coach Tyrone McGriff has spent the last three as head coach. In 2014, the Seminoles  finished second at the 2A State Finals behind Booker T. Washington.

In this series we take a look at state championship and runner-up coaches, their outlook on the team, the season, and the future of the program. Ricky Argro is in his second year at The First Academy. After scoring 0 points in 2012, the Royals finished runner-up in 2013 and 2014. 

Coaching Champions: Doug Butler - Holy Trinity Todd Grasley May 20, 2014

In this series we take a look at state championship and runner-up coaches, their outlook on the team, the season, and the future of the program. Coach Doug Butler is in his 13th year at Holy Trinity and 8th as the track and field coach for the Tigers. On the track, his team's have won six state championships including the fourth for the girls which they achieved this year.
