The 2026 Indoor Track & Field season is in full gear. Here are the top sophomore girls indoor returners by event. The indoor season in Florida starts with the Jimmy Carnes Invitational, Jan. 15-18. MileSplit FL will stream all of the high school and youth events at the Alachua County Sports and Event Center in Gainesville.

Nia Armstrong (center), who runs for the VAST Track & Field Club returns for her sophomore season as one of the top hurdlers in the country.  She won the Florida High School Indoor Championships in 8.52 and was 7th in the finals of the NBNI's 60mH with an 8:45.
