Flagler College

It's a big weekend in Collegiate Cross Country, and Florida alumni will be bringing the sunshine state heat to the competition. This year, you can catch all the action in one place, LIVE on FloTrack.

Clay High School c/o 2011 standout Corey Mundy chose to run at Florida College. This weekend at the FSU Invitational, the junior won the 8k in a time of 25:01.40 See how Mundy and other Florida alumni fared in college action around the country for the week of October 6 - October 12, 2014.

Sara Mund saw how much fun her brother Alex was having on the Dr. Phillip's cross country team and decided to give it a try for herself.  When she joined the team as a freshman her 5k times were in the 21 to 22 minute range. Decent times for a new runner, but nothing amazing. Mund loved the tight team bond, filled with traditions, and a strong support system. She remembers the first time she ran under 21 minutes and her coach telling her she would run in the 18's one day.

It was a great 2011-2012 in both cross country and track across the Sunshine State. Many of our seniors will soon be on their way to start their college careers both athletically and academically so we wanted to salute them one more time in this special feature.
