Tampa Catholic senior and USF signee Nicole Carroll, a two sport athlete who excels in pole vault as we as gymnastics was awarded a $10,000 scholarship from the AAU.

Florida will be sending Symone Mason and Jordan Fields to the World Youth Championships in Cali, Colombia after they won the 400m dash and heptathlon at this week's World Youth Trials.

One of the biggest stories from the first day of the 2015 World Youth Trials was someone who will not be advancing onto the World Youth Championships in Columbia. Damion Thomas, the sophomore from Northeast High School in Orland Park, Florida was expected to be one of America's gold medal contenders in Cali, Columbia later in July in the 110 meter hurdles.
