Pedroza, Varela Take Home Invitational Wins at Larry & Penny Park
Robert Pedroza and Natalie Varela were victorious at the Junior Orange Bowl Invitational on a hot Friday at the always difficult Larry and Penny Park.
Pedroza led the varsity boys win in a time of 16:38 over Marathon's Jonathan Pitchford. While the Belen Jesuit varsity squad was up in North Carolina, their varsity b-squad was busy winning the team title with a team average of 17:40.
Natalie Varela took the girls win in a time of 18:59 over Coral Reef's Krystal Rodriguez who finished in 19:11. The Braddock ladies were led by Jordan Ford and captured the team win over St. Brendan HS with a team average of 20:31.
