Former Satellite standout, Alex Stewart placed 8th in the steeplechase at Junior Nationals earning him All-American Honors. After graduating from Satellite with top notch personal bests, Stewart went on to the University of North Carolina-Charlotte. During his first year Stewart was able to compete on the varsity squad with the 49ers. His best race of the cross country season came at Furman Invitational where he ran 27:45 and placed 41st in the 8k race.
