We got a freshmen boy vaulting well over 15 feet in the state of Florida! Montverde Academy ninth-grader Alex Georgiev vaulted to a personal best height of 15'5" on Saturday at the Tohopekaliga Invitational, which at the time was the top clearance in the state. Nathan Riley of East Lake later would vault 15'7" competing unattached at IMG Academy in the Florida International event to take back the state leaderboard in the event.
Vote below for the Florida boys track & field performer of the week. Poll closes on Thursday at 9 PM.
