The state leader had originally last week's Golden South Series would likely be her last high school career before shutting it down for her collegiate career at the University of Florida, but it appears that our state leader in Jessica Edwards has one more race in the tank. Last week, Edwards recorded her third sub 2:10 race of the season, which has all occurred over the course of her last four meets in a model of consistency and peaking right at season's end. With Samantha Kavanagh and a solid field behind them, Edwards could potentially best her 2:08.40 PR from her sophomore year.
