An updated top 25 girls individual rankings for the state of Florida after the first six weeks of the cross country season. The Race of Champions at the HOKA flrunners.com Invitational certainly had such a deep collection of Florida's best to allow plenty of movement, which a lot happened literally in the last 300-meter loop of the course with packs of runners still together.
The best kickers were rewarded including some with their first appearances this season in the flrunners.com top 25 rankings including Kendall Hughes of Newsome running her first sub 19 minute ever and on a challenging course at Holloway Park with an 18:58 PR effort to finish 3rd individually. She also helped lead her Newsome squad to the team title.
