Two of those squads certainly certified their standing among the state's best this past weekend with the Bartram Trail boys finishing third in the very deep Race of Champions field at the HOKA flrunners.com Invitational, while the Creekside boys nearly knocked off a short-handed FL #1 ranked Viera boys at the New World Fall Spectacular. Both squads are rising contenders to compete for one of the two state meet podium spots in the 4A classification.
