Florida Boys Outdoor Leaderboard Update (2/20)

Miramar junior Tristan Simmons is the first hurdler to go under 38 seconds in the 300-meter hurdles this year and he did it in his first meet out at the Louie Bing Invitational securing victory in the finals on Saturday with a national leading 37.99 PR. Simmons had not broken 40 seconds in the 300-meter hurdles prior to this weekend, yet went 38.75 as the leading qualifier in the prelims on Friday before another time drop on Saturday in the finals. Simmons swept the hurdles winning the 110-meter hurdles finals as well in a 14.57 PR.
