Mia Brahe-Pederson makes her 2024 outdoor premier in the 100m at the Florida Relays on Friday.  

The 2024 Pepsi Florida Relays are this Friday and Saturday in Gainesville.  Below is a preview of the girls' and boys' individual sprints.

Girls 100m

This could be one of the highlights of the Florida Relays.  Three of the nation's best girls sprinters are scheduled to go head to head.  Mia Brahe Pederson is a Lake Osego, OR, USC commit who is making her 2024 outdoor premier.  Without listing all of her accomplishments, she has run 11.00 in the 100, which places her #4 HS All-Time.  She has also run a 22.43 in the 200 which is the second fastest outdoor time in HS history.

Evangelical Sr. McKenzie Travis, a Unv. of South Carolina commit is currently ranked Fl #1 and US #5 with an 11.44.  She has a PR of 11.39w. Indoors this season, she was 2nd to Adaejah Hodge of Montverde in 60 at the Milrose Games with a 7.26 and 3rd at NIN with a 7.37.    

Montverde Sr. Adaejah Hodge is headed to the Unv. of Georgia.  She is the current HS National record holder in the Indoor 200m with a 22.33.  She was 1st last week at the FSU Relays in the 200 with a 23.58.  Indoors she was 2nd at NBNI with a 7.22 and 1st at the Milrose Games with a 7.25.  She was 1st in the NBNI 200 with a 22.96.  She has a 100m PR of 11.18w.
