FUTURE STARS: Top 10 MS Girls from last weeks Districts

Here are your Top 10 Middle School Girls from last week's Districts.  They are the FUTURE STARS. Unlike the young men, you may recognize the names of the top three as they have already made names for themselves at the varisty level.  Atop the list is the current defending 2A State XC Champion (17:32.90), Annabella Tomasic of Lake Highland Prep.  She is also a 4 time MS State Champion and is currently ranked 11th in the state.  She is the 2A District 4 champion.  Ahead of her in the state rankings is the #2 girl at District, Mary Summers of Seven Rivers Christian School.  Summers won the 1A District 3 race last weekend in 18:48.30 and has run   17:39.28 ranking her at #7 in the State. She was 3rd in the 1A State meet last year with an 18:18.40. Dillard's Shynah Collins won the 3A District 7 race with a n 18:55.70.   She was 3rd in last years 3A state championship with an 18:26.50.  On the track she was the state leader last spring in the 800m with an 2:06.51.
