Annabella Tomasic had the most significant improvement of this year's Top 10 finishers from the 2024 race to the 2025 race. The Bishop Moore ninth grader was third in the girls' elite Race in 2024 with an 18:18.00. In this year's Elite Race, she ran a new meet and course record of 17:37.00, a 41-second improvement.

The most significant improvement from 2024 to 2025 came from Clay HS junior Lydia Hamilton. Hamilton, as a sophomore, ran in the 2024 Varsity Race, finishing 309th in a time of 36:20.00. She ran in the Open Race this year, finishing 14th with a time of 29:41.00, representing a dramatic 6:39.00 improvement.
