Florida sprinting is always fast, but how do the top athletes in each classification stack up event-by-event? Here is a comparison of the #1-ranked performers in 1A through 4A across the 100m, 200m, 400m, and both hurdle events.
100m
In the 100m, 2A is setting the standard so far this season, with Zamarii Sanders of Cardinal Newman leading the way. Sanders is not only the fastest in 2A, but the fastest in the entire state by a significant margin. His 10.08 clearly separates him by .14 seconds ahead of the others, who are separated by .42.

200m
Sanders sets the standard in the 200m at this time as well. He is one of two under 21:00 in the state at this time, with Braylen Bennet just behind him by just .19 seconds. But, Sanders, with the top time in the 100m and the 200m, is the state's fastest boy at this time.

The 400m is tight across all of the classifications, with 2A's Kedric Wright Jr. of Palatka leading the way with a 47.23. Three boys are under 48:00, and all four are separated by just 1.44 seconds. .51 seconds separate the 2A, 3A, and 4A runners, making this one of the most competitive events across the classifications.

3A's Jeremy Mango of Rickards has the fastes 110mH of the classifications. He leads the state with a 13.92 and has the only sub014:00 time so far this season.

The 3A classification leads the state in both hurdle events with the top 400mH as well as the top 110mH. Pine Forest's Anthony Gee has the top time in the 400mH with a 53.94 and is the sole boy under 54.00 in the state.
