Hey Florida Runners, another exciting week of racing happened. I was at FSU for the Pre-State meet and it was fantastic. I didn't race as well as I would have liked, but I felt good about it, and I think I am starting to really get into my season now. I was in the ROC by myself, but my team was in the Invitational and they did fantastic. I have seen huge improvements in all of them. We had four guys in that race under 18:40 with Joseph Janson leading the way in 16:40. Congratulations to all of the runners who competed there or anywhere else last weekend.
This week we have a race in our hometown Gainesville. It will be a nice smaller meet and will be our last meet before districts. I can't believe how fast my senior season is going by, but I have made so many good memories so far.
Lastly, for anyone who reads this I would like everyone to check out my friend Marissa Allegra's blog here. Anyone who is a runner and has a sense of humor would love this. I always check it out the night before a race to calm my nervous and to help me relax and get my mind of racing.
