Chiles sophomore Ana Wallace set her PR at state running 18:33.16 and moving up to sixth on our fastest females in the class of 2018. 4A state champion and Foot Locker National finalist Bailey Hertenstein leads the list with her FL#2 time of 17:32.14 while 2A state champion and Nike Nationals Finalist Caitlin Collier is the only other athlete under 18 minutes at 17:44.20. We rank the top 500 times by junior girls this fall.

As part of our Saucony Flo 50 rankings series, we take a look at the top 25 boys and girls individuals as well as the top 25 boys and girls teams and rank them. Here are the top girls individuals after the cross country state championship.

Bolles' Caitlin Collier wasn't going to lose the Cross Country Finals especially after her heartbreaking performance in 2015. Collier and fellow junior Bailey Hertenstein of Riverview were the lone juniors to break 18 minutes on Apalachee Regional Park running two of the fastest times ever on the course in 17:44.20 and 17:40.36 winning the 2A and 4A titles respectively. We take a look at the top times by girls from the class of 2018.

Two words. Bailey Hertenstein. Known as "Hurricane Hertenstein", the Riverview junior ran a blistering 17:32.14 to win the FLR17 Race of Champions. Her time is more than a minute faster than any other girl in the class of 2018 and that includes 2015 NXN qualifier Rafaella Gibbons of Winter Park (2014 4A Cross Country Finals state champion), and Caitlin Collier of Bolles one of the fastest mid-distance girls in the nation. We rank the top 500 times for junior girls in the state. 

In his last year of 42 years of coaching, Buchholz Head Coach Ron Norris is putting together quite a string of memories. At last week's Mtn Dew Classic, he saw his top runner, Calum McFetridge fall and then crawl to the line to finish 27th. And this week, at his own Buchholz Bobcat Classic-his 16th at Buchholz to go along with 20 at his former school, Newberry- he had to disqualify a runner for interference during Saturday's race.
