Race Recap: Mother Nature Messes With Martin County Under The Lights Eddie Romero Aug 28, 2016

What was suppose to be a night to remember under the lights was sadly cancelled due to heavy thunder storms. Only four races were able to finish at the Martin County Under The Lights Invitational before heavy downpours came rolling in. Even though the meet didn't go as planned, we were able to see some great performances from both the middle school and JV races.

The Friday night lights aren't just reserved for football as over 40 teams will head to Halpatiokee Regional Park in Stuart for the Martin County Under The Lights Invitational. The event will feature eight races with the middle school athletes starting at 5:30 p.m. and the elite races going off at 9:00 p.m. We used our virtual meet feature to see how the high school races will play out!
